Chris at piano

I've been composing for all genres of music since I became a professional in 1985, writing albums of production or "library music" or writing scores and themes for TV as shown here, in addition to writing and producing pop and jazz music for rpl.

When a piece gets used in rather famous TV shows or films, it's very pleasant

It's amazing where some tracks get used.

Absolutely Fabulous (BBC-1)

This little piece of music is at the back of an Ab Fab scene set in fashionable
Val-d'Isère in the alps in the 1996 episode The Last Shout Part 1. The track is called
In The Shadows, and is a Shadows pastiche on a Chappell album called Tribute to the 60s
and 70s, but the slightly amusing thing is that Roddy Matthews who played guitar on this
played on sessions for incidental music for the series anyway, and I played organ on
This Wheel's On Fire, Ab Fab's Theme Song, on one of the versions of it.
