I've been composing for all genres of music since I became a professional in 1985, writing albums of production or "library music" or writing scores and themes for TV as shown here, in addition to writing and producing pop and jazz music for rpl.

For this programme, I had to record the multi-tracked whimpers and sobs of my singer friend Michael Watson for creepy background chatter, amongst synthesizers and pianos.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Asylum War (BBC-2)

The Asylum War concerns the practices at the infamous York Lunatic Asylum
and was rather harrowing to compose music for, with such a grim subject matter
